Alongside countless hours of dedicated listening and an encyclopaedic knowledge of the music in his collection, Pete is also a passionate DJ. He is a regular at Voodoo Jazz and Into Somethin’ in Sheffield, and has hosted the much-loved Spinningjazz show on Sheffield Live! radio for the past eight years. He has also presented The Turnaround on Gumbo FM.
Pete joins One Jazz with a new programme, Focal Point, exploring artists, record labels and defining eras of jazz through carefully curated, highly focused selections from his vast vinyl collection. Each episode offers a deep dive into a unique corner of the music, uncovering stories and connections that reward curious listeners.
