Deep Listening: Jazz on Vinyl & Digital at Spiritland
One Jazz founders Chris Philips and Jez Nelson have been passionate jazz record collectors for over 40 years. Now, they’re coming together for a new monthly Monday evening session dedicated to deep listening.
Each session explores classic jazz on vinyl alongside the best of contemporary and new jazz in high-quality digital, all played through Spiritland’s phenomenal hi-fi sound system. It’s a chance to slow down, really listen, and experience jazz the way it’s meant to be heard.
Every month, Chris and Jez will be joined by a special guest from the growing family of One Jazz hosts. For our April session, we’re delighted to welcome the Don Dada that is Gerry Lyseight – latin champion and all round jazz junkie.
Join us on Monday 6th April for an evening of deep listening in a beautiful Kings Cross space, with great food and drinks available throughout.
The session will also be streamed live on One Jazz.
