Marco Cafolla

Scottish musician and band leader Marco Cafolla wrote, arranged & produced celebrated band Mama Terra’s debut album The Summoned, released on legendary label Acid Jazz Records in 2023. As well as launching the album at a sold-out Ronnie Scotts, they were invited to perform Herbie Hancock’s Headhunters album on its 50th anniversary for Jazz FM’s classic album series.

Marco also fronts the award-winning band Federation of the Disco Pimp. He has written for and led the band through two Studio albums, a live album, a BBC One residency as the house band for Tonight at the Games (2014 Commonwealth Games), collaborated with music legends including trombonist Fred Wesley (James Brown), Pee Wee Ellis (James Brown, Van Morrison), Nile Rodgers & CHIC, George Clinton & Parliament, Grandmaster Flash, Sister Sledge, Snarky Puppy and James Taylor Quartet to name but a few.
