PLEASE SIGN AND SHARE: SAVE THE BBE STORE!
Independent music culture needs places like the BBE Store. Without them, our musical world becomes a little less adventurous, a little less diverse, and a whole lot less soulful.
Since 1996, BBE Music has championed extraordinary music, independent artists and sounds that deserve to be heard. The BBE Store in Hackney is more than a shop – it’s a meeting place for music lovers, a home for discovery, and a vital part of the independent music community, bringing people together through music, events and shared passion.
Now, its ability to continue operating under its existing licence is under threat. After working with Hackney Council on measures to address noise concerns, the future of this important independent music space remains uncertain.
We cannot afford to lose another vital part of our independent music culture. Once places like this disappear, the communities, connections and creative energy they nurture are incredibly difficult to replace.
If you believe in independent music, in protecting cultural spaces, in supporting the people who champion music beyond the mainstream, please take a moment to make your voice heard.
