One Jazz is delighted to be a media partner for London’s newest Jazz Festival – based in a cool corner of the north of the capital. The inaugural De Beauvoir Jazz Festival arrives this summer and is set to transform multiple venues across De Beauvoir on July 11-12th. This boundary-pushing festival brings together established icons and emerging voices in a format as fresh as the sounds it will showcase. “London’s jazz scene has reached this incredible moment of creative energy,” says festival founder Payal Wadhwa. “We’re creating a platform that takes that energy directly into neighbourhood spaces, breaking down the walls between artists and audiences.”
Artists appearing include Mark Kavuma and The Banger Factory, vocalist Georgia Cecile, Kinetika Bloco and One Jazz’s own DJ Lil’ Koko.
