Husband and wife team Alan and Carolyn Bonnyman have created a beautiful spot for music lovers in the heart of Glasgow.
Secondline Records started with a simple idea — to create a space where music lovers could discover new sounds, reconnect with old favourites, and talk vinyl for hours.
Inspired by the rhythm of second lines in New Orleans — spontaneous, soulful, and always moving — the store is a tribute to that same free-flowing spirit, whether you’re into jazz, punk, techno, or the weird stuff in between.
Secondline have hosted a number of small live events in store with local jazz musicians and have others in the pipeline as well as a focus on specific labels and genres.
