Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Marv was exposed to music at an early age because of his late father being a musician. Music just touched Marv’s soul and he began to study music as a teenager by writing lyrics, learning how to play bass and randomly making mixtapes for family and friends. After attending college and learning recording arts and sciences, Marv has gone on to release music independently and DJ at events and on-air.
Marv’s show Playground represents the finest in modern jazz along with a history about the connection between Jazz and Hip Hop.
