Gustavo Mezo is a pianist, music communicator, and collaborator at Contratiempo Jazz, a platform dedicated for more than a decade to highlighting contemporary jazz from Mexico and Latin America for international audiences.
Gustavo is also the founder and director of Monart Music Agency, specialising in artist promotion, strategy and career development within jazz and global music. Based in France since 2008, Mezo combines his artistic work with content production and strategic support for recording campaigns by both emerging and established musicians. A fervent defender of music as a cultural force, he is committed to building bridges between scenes, cultures and territories, offering an international and contemporary perspective on jazz and its evolving expressions.
